MindMax’s leadership team brings together a broad range of experience in marketing and technology across industries and deep expertise in the higher education field.
Lee has led MindMax since its founding in 2009, providing technology-enabled marketing solutions to accelerate enrollments for universities. Lee takes pride in building long-lasting relationships with MindMax’s university partners and building a culture focused on results aligned with clients’ specific needs. MindMax has been named to the Inc. 5000 list of Fastest Growing Companies in Education for four years running. Lee has more than 25 years of experience in the education field, and prior to founding MindMax, he helped guide several Fortune 1000 companies in deploying learning technology strategies. He served as CEO at Acadient and chief learning officer at Element K, Pathlore, and Click2Learn. Early in his career, Lee worked in financial aid and admissions at the University of Rochester. He frequently presents at industry events and serves as an editorial board member and columnist for CLO magazine. Lee graduated from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology. Besides his many hobbies and interests, Lee loves going to the Adirondacks to camp with his wife and three teenage kids.

Brian brings more than 20 years of experience in bridging technology and business to his role leading the technology team at MindMax. An expert in establishing strategic roadmaps to drive sales and marketing initiatives, he is responsible for planning the information technology future for our university partners. Brian oversees all aspects of systems integration, data-driven management, and reporting to accommodate growth objectives. Before joining MindMax, Brian served as vice president of marketing and strategic planning for School Specialty, Inc., the industry’s largest provider of educational products, services, and programs. Brian graduated from Bentley University with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and finance.
Laura has worked in the higher education field for more than 20 years and has deep expertise in content development, system implementation, and marketing. She works closely with several of MindMax’s partner universities, advising on strategy and managing the execution of marketing and enrollment plans tailored to their needs. Since 2004, as the principal at her own consulting practice, Laura has supported higher education and corporate learning clients across a range of content and technology projects. Previously, she was director of business consulting in learning services at Sapient Corporation, supporting corporate clients in competency mapping, content development, and LMS implementation. As vice president and general manager of Learning Network College, a division of Pearson Education, she led the development of an Internet publishing business within the higher education vertical. She also served as vice president of content at Hungry Minds, an Internet company targeting the adult and continuing education market. Her prior experience in higher education publishing included traditional print and online curriculum development for higher education. Laura earned her Master of Education in curriculum development at Temple University and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications at the University of Scranton.
Angela provides strategic guidance for enrollment management and marketing services for MindMax’s university partners. She has more than 15 years of experience working in the continuing education field, specializing in operations, enrollment management, student retention, new program development, and in harnessing technology to improve enrollment. Angela works directly with marketing teams at our partner universities to drive enrollment success. Prior to joining MindMax, Angela spent more than a decade in continuing education as regional enrollment director for three Massachusetts campuses and as executive director, overseeing management of all campus operations along with successfully launching hybrid program implementations. Angela earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Assumption College.
Liz’s more than 20 years of experience in technology and education developed her broad expertise in marketing, learning design, content development, and system implementation. She works with our university partners to offer strategic guidance and in planning and executing customized marketing and enrollment campaigns. Before joining MindMax, she spent several years at SkillSoft, as a custom development services director, establishing a new business unit focused on creating custom learning solutions for clients. Early in her career, she was a financial services consultant for Accenture. Liz earned her Bachelor of Science in finance and marketing from the University of Richmond and her Bachelor of Science in international economics from the University of Bath in England.
In working with our university partners, Kylee draws on her extensive digital marketing and social media expertise and more than 17 years of experience working with higher education institutions. She focuses on helping our university partners assess their marketing strategies and developing solutions to meet their enrollment goals. Previously, Kylee worked in marketing for Northeastern University, planning and implementing integrated marketing and communications campaigns to support the school’s strategic vision and enrollment goals. She was also a marketing manager and consultant for Aetna, overseeing all marketing and communications for Aetna Student Health, including social media campaigns and online and print advertising. Kylee earned her MBA at Suffolk University and her Bachelor of Arts in communications from Framingham State College.
