Overview
Under general direction from the Vice President of Technology, the Project Manager will support client delivery serving as a key client contact working directly with account leads, marketing, and enrollment teams. The project manager will review contract deliverables, create communication protocols, develop task templates in the project management platform, and assign and track the internal team’s resource hours toward project milestones.

The Project Manager must be adept at mitigating risk, tracking project tasks, hours and budget, and communicating status through standardized reporting. The Project Manager must be a capable problem-solver, able to work across functional teams, and escalate issues with recommended solutions. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple complex project schedules and reports, managing project scope, and creating and refining process to implement best practices. Additionally, the Project Manager will assist in the management of external contract project resources including graphic designers, copywriters, and web design professionals.

Experience in marketing, publishing, or content development strongly preferred.

Job Requirements

  • Work with Client Partners to analyze project needs ensuring that they fit with resourcing, project objectives and quality standards. Know the questions to ask to onboard each project smoothly.
  • Maintain detailed timelines, project plans, and hours budgeted for project deliverables and key milestones.
  • Have the flexibility to work within an ever-changing workload by effectively setting, observing and re-evaluating project priorities often.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects, including assigning and managing of tasks, measuring progress against estimates, communicating client needs to internal teams and tracking and escalating issues internally and within the client organization.
  • Lead project status meetings and ongoing project schedule updates.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and understand project priorities.
  • Assist in managing internal and external resources, ensuring projects are appropriately staffed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, communication or other related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Strong project management skills and 3-5 years of demonstrated project management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple, concurrent projects with wide-ranging scope
  • Budget tracking and management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Strong facilitation skills and experience leading in-person and web-based meetings
  • Meticulous organization and attention to detail
  • Flexibility and effectiveness in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Teamwork, Basecamp, Asana, etc.)
  • Self-directed and highly motivated go-getter and team player
  • Strong MS Office skills especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • PMP certification a plus

Location: Fully Remote with quarterly in-person team/company meetings held in Duxbury, MA

Overview:

MindMax is seeking a full-time Content Specialist to join our fully remote team. The team member will be a marketer with 3 years of writing experience, specializing in creating and editing email, landing page, and social media content on behalf of MindMax and our clients in the higher education space. The candidate should also be detail oriented and able to maintain content and email calendars, and work with the Director of Content Strategy to develop and report on insights for our company and our clients.

Performance Goals

  • Support the content team in defining standards for content deliverables including level of effort estimates and resources to execute (leveraging and extending existing work product)
  • Ensure client success in reviewing and approving creative components (email content, ad copy, landing page copy, blogs, visual design) and facilitate inclusion of client feedback while ensuring creative meets project needs
  • Develop meaningful relationships with freelance resources, including writers, graphic designers, and creative support specialists.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Draft email, landing page, blog, and social media copy on behalf of MindMax and our clients in the higher education space
  2. Manage contract resources providing copywriting and graphic design
  3. Collaborate with a cross-functional marketing team to identify solutions and execute marketing services on behalf of clients
  4. Participate in client services meetings to contribute document content and creative needs

Qualifications

In order to be considered for and perform effectively in this position, you must have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience with at least 3 years in writing and editing
  • Agency experience/dealing with multiple clients is desirable
  • Interest in and knowledge of market trends
  • Experience with marketing automation tools
  • Marketing experience in higher education a plus
  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in Marketing or a related field
